Im wanting to try snow boarding for the first time this year and I'm just going to by a snow board before going to colorado. I'm 5 "11 and I weight 220 lbs. What size board does anyone out there recommend I buy? Thanks for your advise.

I suggest renting your equipment for your first few times. You can try different boards and boots to learn what fits your style and ability.

Well if you havent tryed snowboarding before i wouldnt buy a board. you could rent one and try it out. your going to fall alot. and it can be disencouraging and you might not want to do it anymore. and your looking at around 1000 dollars for everything from board, bindings, boots, and outerwere. but since your 220 you might want to go to a shop and they will help you pick a board out for you but your going to be looking a154- 163cm size board. and you want a big rider board. im also 220 + so i hope this helps, i would hate to see you spend alot of money for a one time thing. but stick to it its worth it in the long run
