Quick checklist of what you NEED to bring: Googles Sunglasses Thermal Underwear (Polypropylene is MUCH better than cotton; cotton is the WORST insulator) Snowboarding socks (polyproplyene, acrylic, synthetic, and wool are ALL better than cotton socks) Gloves Pants Jacket Sunscreen Chapstick Ibuprofen Most important things: Waterproof pants, waterproof gloves, and goggles.(or sunglasses) I really recommend buying any brand with Gore-Tex in it. Gore-Tex is the best water-proofing you can get. I only buy Gore-Tex pants and gloves because I like being dry all day while I ride. Dont forget sunblock and chapstick, you can get a burned face even on a cloudy day. **Remember its going to be cold and wet, so bring an extra set of warm clothes to change back into when you get finished skiing. For information on the best brands, I know the North Face and Outdoor Research make some of the best outer-wear in the world. For the most popular brands, check the link below (but dont forget about Gore-tex!) trails.com/ list_26957_popular-ski-apparel-brands.html |
